Holiday PROjects, So damn cool.

A’right, well after some sweat and tears the term is finally over, finally freeing me up for some personal projects I’ve been meaning (be-meaning?) to work on. So expect more pictures, long rambles of thought and jokes that don’t even make sense. Yay?

Most definite yay.

PROPAGATOR™ and good fake blogs.

Well it’s almost time for this semesters Major Piece, and this time round the theme is Propaganda.

I originally came to this project with an idea to simply develop and explore propaganda posters, making a series of four to show at the end. Nice, simple and most importantly; Not Flash (not because I dislike flash but simply because my last two majors were centered around the program). Well, despite my original intentions my ideas evolved and it seems I can’t stay away from the damn thing. Here’s the premise;

I will be making an ultra slick website for a fake product called PROPAGATOR™ The webs foremost propaganda generator. Propagator is essentially a questionnaire about the user and their cause and goals. It will then takes this information and generates a personalized propaganda poster, each question being linked to one or more elements in the poster. It’s hard and it’s flash. But it should be half decent and pretty fun.

So of course with any good fake website you need a good fake blog to go along with it.

Anyhow, check it out, it’ll have a new post everyday for 10 days and i’ll try to keep it as “slick” and entertaining as I can.

My Major Project from last semester was put up on the National Museums website (yay),  very seriose photo of me included! do you see the sepia, the EMOTION! you see it right?

So the project is kinda rubbish but thats okay. I’m just happy it got done. Oh and props to Sophie for help with her fantastic flash engine!

I would talk about it more but between doing it and the multiple problems that arose when they tried to put it on their website I’m fairly over it. which is why I put it up on this blog. yup.

So it’s not any where near finished but I’ve gotten to the point where if I don’t post it now I never will. Ugh… I can hardly look at it, but I did say I would post everything; The good the bad and the ugly.  That would of been cleverer if this was a picture of a cowboy.
